BYD's Fifth-Generation DM Technology Revolutionizes Hybrid Range with 2500KM Output

BYD's “technology fish pond” has a significant “output”, the hybrid range even “roll” to 2500KM level.

On the evening of May 28, BYD officially announced the fifth generation of DM technology, together with the release of the fifth generation of DM technology Qin L DM-i, Seal 06 DM-i models.

According to the information revealed at the conference, with the fifth generation of DM technology, the integrated range of the above models even reaches up to 2500 KM.   as BYD chairman Wang Chuanfu said at the conference, “fuel cars have become non-mainstream”.

In the industry's view, the release of BYD's fifth-generation DM technology will further accelerate the process of oil-to-electricity conversion in the automotive market, and plug-in hybrids will further impact the fuel car market.

Further subversion of fuel vehicles?

“When the engineer mentioned that DM hybrid technology can reduce the loss of electricity fuel consumption to less than 3L, I immediately shot the board to start.”   Wang Chuanfu confessed at the launch.   “If the project fails, at most dozens of small goals hit the water, but once it succeeds, it will face a huge market space.”   He laughed.

In BYD's view, this fifth-generation DM technology release is one of its most important matters throughout the year.   After all, BYD's previous generation of DM technology was regarded by the market as a “fuel-vehicle disruptor”.
