BMW officially released the new BMW X 3 global debut. The new car, codenamed G45, is based on the CLAR platform and adopts the new design language of BMW's electrification era, which is still positioned as a medium-sized SUV. The overseas version will be produced at the Spartanburg plant in the United States and the Rosslyn plant in South Africa. In addition, the new car will be first available in the United States and Europe by the end of 2024, and in the global market in 2025.

In terms of appearance, the new car still uses two designs of luxury suit and M sports suit, and the newly designed "Angel eyes" big light set uses double L shape daytime running lights, which is more concise and sharp than the classic ring shape. The new car uses the classic dual grille design, the size is larger, and the interior is matched with the horizontal and oblique lines. The front of the new car is surrounded by a two-stage cooling opening, and both sides are equipped with longitudinal layout of the air vent design.

From the side of the body, the new car waist line presents an elevated posture, the front and rear wing panels adopt a wide-body visual design, while the semi-hidden door handles and five-spoke large-size rims, and has 19, 20, 21 three sizes to choose from, and also reshaped the BMW brand's iconic Hofmeister corner design on the body D-pillar. In addition, the roof of the new car also uses a slightly downward sloping design, and the shape of the vehicle has similarities with BMW XM models. The body length of the new car is increased by 34 mm to 4755 mm, the width is increased by 29 mm to 1920 mm, the height is reduced by 25 mm to 1660 mm, and the wheelbase is 2865 mm. Combined with a wider front wheel base of 16 mm and a wider rear wheel base of 45 mm, it highlights the power and sporty feeling.
